About
Bamsuni Korea Guides publishes practical, step-by-step guides for foreigners living in Korea: residence registration, banking, phone plans, health insurance, housing deposits, taxes and legal part-time work.
How we write guides
- Every guide is based on official sources (HiKorea / Korea Immigration Service, NHIS, National Tax Service, Internet Registry Office, Easylaw) and links to them.
- Each guide shows the date it was last updated. Rules and fees in Korea change often; always confirm with the linked official source or call 1345 (Immigration Contact Center) before acting.
- Guides are general information, not legal, tax or immigration advice.
Free and paid content
All guides and tools on this site are free to read and use. The optional printable checklists pack (one-time payment) adds printable one-page checklists to the guides and helps keep the site running.
